The Sleeping Beauty 

This Blue Bird tutu is a show stopper!  Soft layers of blue net combined with a custom dyed decorative silver tulle make up this one-of-a-kind tutu.  Scallop edges and the sweeping movement of the decorative lace emulate the essence of bird feathers.  This is a 14" classical tutu with some slope and is hooped for support.  The panty is made of comfortable but strong powernet. The plate decoration has plenty of sparkle with Preciosa rhinestones and faux pearls.  The layers of net are a combination of hand-tacking and gun.  The skirt/tutu attaches with elastic stays to the bodice.

The bodice is made of soft blue-grey silk with a mixture of metallic silver jacquard and piping on princess seams.   Pretty iridescent chiffon drapes the neckline  and Preciosa crystals decorate the front with faux pearls.  This costume comes with 2 sets of sleeve options.  Either a draped flutter sleeve design or matching tutu puffs.  Sleeve elastics will need to be adjusted by the dancer. Both options will be shipped and is your choice for the costume.  Both are completely stretch elastic for full movement during dance.

A matching Blue Bird tiara is available separately to coordinate to the costume.  

Every Classical Ballet Tutu costume is shipped in a complimentary protective tutu bag.

Because this costume is made of woven silk it has minimal stretch and it is recommended that measurements be fairly close.  The back bodice closure has room to expand, as does the tutu.  However, more than 1" expansion in the tutu base could cause the tutu net to buckle and not drape as intended. Keep in mind there is more fit tolerance in the bodice.  This costume has the following measurements:

BUST: 28-30"

WAIST: 24"

HIGH HIP:  31"

HIP: 33-34"
