I lived the Project Runway life before it was a show on television.  Design School was my formal training and I received a Fashion Design Degree in my early 20's completing a comprehensive range of courses from couture construction techniques, pattern making, draping, sketching & illustration, fashion history, various marketing classes, while designing many collections/projects. Throughout my 20's and into my mid 30's I worked as a clothing designer for women's sportswear companies.  From the West Coast to Boston and NYC, I designed for large corporate names you may still recognize today.  I always loved fast fashion and forecasting new trends came naturally to me.

But then came my firstborn at the age of 35.  Slowing down was my intention, however children's fashion became my new passion and an unexpected business venture sprouted.  I enjoyed the fast-paced, innovative, entrepreneurial spirit needed to run my own successful business for the next 14 years and it still exists today with a new owner.  As my two daughter's grew, one became consumed with anything and everything ballet.  A true bunhead.  That is where my ballet story started...

Today I design and make professional quality tutus for advanced pre-professional dance students.  Each design is unique and no two are alike.  My passion is to create something not only unique to you, but create a costume that fits well and will give you the confidence to dance beautifully on stage!
